Thi To Nhien Ngo

MSc. Ngo Thi To Nhien is currently the Executive Director of the Vietnam Initiative for Energy Transition (VIET). She has more than 20 years of working experience and her professional activities focus on energy and environmental economics, energy modeling, energy policy, and assessment of low carbon energy technologies. She used to be an independent energy expert and implemented technical assistant activities sponsored by the World Bank, EU, UNDP, UNIDO, and ADB with the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, such as developing the potential renewable energy mappings for wind, solar, hydropower, and biomass. She has also done some research papers on energy subsidy, electricity price, policy recommendations for Vietnam offshore wind development, design of the auction mechanism applying for renewable energy projects, and coal abatement scenarios for Vietnam, etc.
