Temate Melitiana is a senior public servant from Tuvalu, currently serving as Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure Development, and Water since June 2024. He has held several high-level leadership and diplomatic roles, including High Commissioner of Tuvalu to Fiji (2017–2022), CEO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Tourism, Environment, and Labour, and Permanent Secretary for Finance and Economic Development. He holds a Master of Arts and a Postgraduate Diploma in Governance from the University of the South Pacific, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
