Mr. Tatsuya Yanase is working as an Environment and Climate Change Specialist for ADB and the fund manager of the Japan Fund for the Joint Crediting Mechanism, which aims to provide financial incentives for the adoption of advanced low-carbon technologies in ADB projects; and to facilitate the diffusion of leading low-carbon technologies, products, systems, services, and infrastructure. He has worked with the MOEJ since 2006 where he has held a number of positions, including municipal waste management, and promoting and managing the final waste disposal site project in Fukushima, Deputy Director for Air Environment Division and International Cooperation and Sustainable Infrastructure Office.
