Dr. Tanmoy Mukherjee is an atmospheric scientist working in the field of atmospheric aerosols, trace gases and air quality. He is currently working as an Air Quality Specialist at the Clean Air Asia. With more than 9 years of experience in the relevant field he was associated with the national organizations like IIT Bhubaneswar, Department of Environment Forest and Climate Change, State of Bihar and international organizations like International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). He worked in various funded projects under ISRO and OSPCB. He was awarded many prestigious fellowships like ICIMOD doctoral fellowship and published many scientific articles in international journals. His research areas include atmospheric aerosols, trace gases, air quality assessments using monitoring and modeling techniques.
