Syeda Amina Fahmeen

Syeda Amina Fahmeen is a Joint Secretary in the Development Economic Policy Division (DEPD) of the Ministry of Finance Bangladesh, where she is responsible for program management under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP). With extensive experience in public financial management and development planning, she plays a key role in coordinating policy implementation and overseeing large-scale, donor-supported programs aimed at strengthening skills development systems.

In her current role, Fahmeen supports the design and execution of initiatives that enhance workforce competitiveness, promote industry-relevant training, and improve institutional capacity across Bangladesh’s skills ecosystem. She works closely with government agencies, development partners, and training institutions to ensure effective program delivery and alignment with national development priorities, contributing to inclusive economic growth and human capital development in Bangladesh.
