Principal Investment Solutions Specialist, PPP Advisory Sectors, Themes, and Finance Solutions Department, AIIB Profile / Bio Syed Afsor has more than 20 years’ experience specializing in public-private partnerships (PPPs) and advising and leading the development of PPP programs for the governments of Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, and Uzbekistan, in addition to private-sector PPP transaction advisory experience. Before joining AIIB in 2024, he was a PPP policy advisor to the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, CEO of the PPP Authority of Bangladesh, and associate director at PwC. He completed his Master of Laws at the University of London and Bachelor of Laws at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
