Suwon Rim completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Sydney, and received her Master’s degree in International Cooperation (Global Affairs & Policy) at the Yonsei Graduate School of International Studies. She is mainly engaged in the management of renewable energy and energy efficiency cooperation programs in Southeast Asia, supporting the implementation and organization of various demonstration projects, feasibility studies, energy audits and capacity building workshops.
Among the projects she participated in are: Renewable Energy Fueled Pico-Grid Village Demonstration Project in Cambodia (managing institution: Korea Energy Agency & ASEAN Centre for Energy); 2016 – 2018 Climate Change Response Program with Emerging Economy: Southeast Asia (managing institution: Korea Energy Agency); and Feasibility Study for the Development of 3MW Solar Power Plant in Cambodia (managing institution: Korea Energy Agency).
