Sopheap Im serves as an innovative social enterprise that enables talent from underserved populations to access sustainable training and professional opportunities and earn lasting higher income, including youth from low-income families in developing countries. She supports a workforce of over 1000 people in Asia and East Africa. As Executive Director of Impact Programs, Sopheap also drives the creation and management of new and innovative impact initiatives across DDD such as the DDD Career Connect, Training Center. Since 2004, Sopheap worked her way up through the rank from an entry-level employee who participated in the work-study program to one of the top female executive leaders at DDD.
Before this role, she served as Executive Vice President of HR and Impact. During the time she led global HR, Sopheap introduced a performance management system to all three offices and enforced the company culture of an engaged working environment and those programs have since become DDD’s on-going global initiatives. Sopheap holds a Master of International Management (with a minor focus in Logistics and Supply Chain Management) from Portland State University in Oregon State. She is also a 2009 International Ford Motor Company fellow. Sopheap was born and raised in Battambang province in a family of 4 and has now lived in Phnom Penh since 2013.
