Siripan Choomnoom

Siripan Choomnoom is President of the Thailand Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), where she provides strategic leadership in the development and management of the country’s technical and vocational education and training (TVET) system. She oversees policy implementation, institutional governance, and partnerships with industry and development partners to strengthen skills development and enhance workforce readiness in line with national priorities.

With extensive experience in education administration and workforce development, Ms. Choomnoom has played a key role in advancing quality, relevance, and inclusiveness in vocational education in Thailand. Her work focuses on aligning curricula with labor market needs, promoting innovation in teaching and learning, and expanding opportunities for lifelong learning to support economic growth and competitiveness.
