Simona Dobre

Simona Dobre is a researcher and data scientist specializing in data analysis, modelling, and the development and implementation of AI models across interdisciplinary domains. 

With an academic background in automatic control and computer science, she has focused on artificial intelligence since 2018 and founded DevAIs. She is a Technical Expert at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH), where—within the openIMIS initiative—she has contributed to AI models for health-insurance workflows, including the openIMIS AI Claim Categorisation module, and supports AI and innovation-focused learning activities.
