Shuji Kimura has over 25 years of professional experience, including approximately 10 years with the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He joined ADB in 2015 and has since been engaged in transport sector development projects. His work has covered Southeast Asian countries such as Lao PDR, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam, as well as South Asian countries including Bangladesh and India. His experience spans road transport, rail transport, and urban public transport systems.

Prior to joining ADB, he served with the Government of Japan, where he was responsible for road sector policies and projects, including the financing modalities for expressways and the construction of urban expressways in Tokyo.
