Shuhrat Mirzoev

Shuhrat Mirzoev (Senior Economics Officer, TJRM) is a development economist with 17 years of professional experience in economic governance, public finance management, labor market development, and business environment. Shuhrat is the Senior Economics Officer in ADB's Tajikistan Resident Mission (TJRM) and Team Leader of the Tajikistan Country Partnership Strategy 2026-2030. Prior to joining ADB in July 2024, Shuhrat previously held economist posts with the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the World Bank, and over the past decade provided professional consulting services to more than 30 development agencies, international financial institutions, private contractors, and governments. Shuhrat holds PhD in Economics from Rutgers University, NC (USA) and Master of Sciences degree in International Strategy and Economics from the University of St Andrews (UK).
