Shikhnazar Sharofaddinov

Shikhnazar Sharofaddinov serves as the Director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, where he leads national efforts to strengthen and modernize the country’s skills development system.

In this role, Sharofaddinov oversees the design and implementation of policies and programs aimed at improving the quality, relevance, and accessibility of vocational education. His work focuses on aligning TVET with labor market demands, advancing competency-based training, and fostering partnerships with industry and development partners. He also supports reforms to enhance institutional capacity, promote innovation in teaching and learning, and expand pathways for youth and adult learners to acquire job-ready skills in line with Uzbekistan’s economic development priorities.
