Shardul Joshi is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Briota. He has completed his master’s degree in mechanical design and has experience of almost a decade in the Medtech sector. He has worked majorly on need discovery, de-risking of technology and commercialization of MedTech products such as drug delivery devices, drug adherence monitoring for tuberculosis, technologies related to fetal growth monitoring, passive voice prosthesis and interventional devices such as esophageal stent and others.
At Briota, he and his team have developed a unique and comprehensive chronic respiratory disease screening and diagnostic solution. This solution consists of handheld spirometer device, multilingual mobile application and clinical diagnostic support system powered with No contact AI. The innovation specifically caters to existing limitations such as absence of diagnostic tests, unavailability of skilled technicians and physicians at primary healthcare facilities in LMIC countries. Their mission is to screen 100 million patients by 2030.
