Mr. Sattor Saidov is the current head of the Climate Change and Ozone Layer Research Centre of the Agency on Hydrometeorology of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. He is a holder of a degree in Programming from the Tajik University of Technology and qualifications in Satellite Meteorology and Global Climate from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Since June 2022, Mr. Saidov has coordinated releasing national communications of Tajikistan under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. He is also an expert of the Working Group on implementing the National Strategy on Adaptation to Climate Change of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030. Mr. Saidov is responsible for the annual preparation of the Climate Outlook of Tajikistan. Mr. Saidov is representing the Republic of Tajikistan in the Intergovernmental Working Group on Climate Change (IPCC/IPCC) and serving as the national coordinator for implementing the Information System for Climate Services (ISCO).
