Satomi Sakaguchi

Satomi Sakaguchi is a Senior Transport Specialist under the Railway/Logistics, Transport Sector Office, Sector’s Department 1 of the Asian Development Bank. She has 13 years of experience in planning and managing transport infrastructure projects such as railways, metros and roads, in the Philippines, Bangladesh and India at the ADB and the Japan International Cooperation Agency. Earlier in her career, Satomi had worked with a financial regulatory authority for 10 years.

She holds an MSc in Political Economy of Late Development from the London School of
Economics and Political Science, London, and a B.A in International Relations from International Christian University, Tokyo.
