Sanjeev Mathur is a senior IT leader with over 28 years of experience in digital governance, software application development, and technology management across the Government of India. He currently serves as Senior Technical Director at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of Electronics & IT, where he is leading many  IT initiatives for the Ministry of Finance 

Mr. Mathur’s career spans major accomplishments in software design and development, vendor and contract management, cloud migration, cybersecurity, and the implementation of many e-Governance systems. He has managed multiple high-impact projects for the Ministry of Finance, including the Online Screening Portal for External Aided Projects (PPR) used by central ministries, states, PSUs, and international development agencies such as ADB, World Bank, JICA, and NDB. 

Internationally, Mr. Mathur has contributed to capacity building and cross-country knowledge exchange, including programs with Nepal and Indonesia, and led the design and deployment of FIU systems for Bhutan, covering hardware architecture, application development, deployment, and knowledge transfer.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong capabilities in Strategic planning, Standardization, Software design & development, inter-departmental coordination, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. 

Mr. Mathur holds an MCA (1994) and an MBA (2000) degrees. He is a member of the Computer Society of India and serves on Technical Advisory Groups. He is fluent in English and Hindi and is based in New Delhi, India.
