, Korea Local Information Research & Development Institute (KLID) Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Dr. Sang-Baek Chris Kang is currently a Director of Global Cooperation at the Korea Local Information Research and Development Institute (KLID). Prior to this, he was a General Manager of SK C&C Dubai Branch Office, where he was in charge of Middle East private sector ICT business development. Dr. Kang also worked as a researcher at Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) which is the largest government ICT R&D Institute in Korea. He completed his Ph.D. in Information Systems at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, in the U.S. He recently co-authored a book on future fusion industry outlook. At the ISDS 2016, he is hoping to learn more about smart technology deployment and application in the Asia Pacific countries associated with UN SDGs.
