Sameer Khatiwad is an Economist at the ADB’s Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department, based in Manila, Philippines. Mr. Khatiwada previously worked as an Economist with the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Research Department in Geneva and as n Employment Specialist at ILO's Regional Office in Bangkok, where he covered Indonesia, Philippines and Pacific Island Countries. Mr. Khatiwada obtained his PhD in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, and his master’s degree in public policy (MPP) from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
