Ruel Amparo

Ruel Amparo is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Cropital. Cropital is a crowdfunding platform connecting anyone to help finance farmers. He is an Industrial Engineer and previously worked for different companies in oil and gas industry and management consulting including Shell Philippines Exploration, Petron Corporation and Boston Consulting Group.

He was also an active volunteer and advocate and has led several socio civic project initiatives in the past, including a malnutrition reduction program in Payatas , successfully reducing the number of malnourished children in the program by almost per cent. 

He graduated Cum Laude and has been awarded with Garrick Yao Student Excellence Award for Service and was a national finalist of Procter and Gamble Student Excellence Award, Trend Micro Big Data Innovation and Unilab Ideas Positive
