Rashmita Panda

Rashmita Panda is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2010 batch, currently serving as Director of Skill Development and Employment in the Government of Odisha. Over her career, she has held several key administrative and leadership roles at both district and state levels, including District Collector of Nabarangpur and Sundargarh, where she led initiatives to improve livelihoods, agriculture, and public service delivery. She has also served as Director of Employment and Chief Executive Officer of the Odisha Skill Development Authority, contributing to workforce development and skills training systems.

In her current and previous roles, Panda has focused on strengthening employability, promoting entrepreneurship, and aligning skills development with emerging economic opportunities. She has been associated with initiatives supporting rural livelihoods, youth employment, and enterprise development, including work linked to startup ecosystems and urban development institutions in the state. More recently, she has also held senior positions such as Commissioner-cum-Secretary in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, reflecting her broad experience in economic development, governance, and institutional leadership.
