Rasel Parvez

Md. Rasel Parvez is a highly accomplished professional with Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and Master's in Procurement and Supply Management from BRAC University. He is chartered member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK; Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by Project Management Institute (PMI), USA; and certified Asset Manager by Institute of Asset Management (IAM), UK.

Rasel is a National Procurement Trainer certified by Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA). He is also a CIPS Course tutor, PMP course tutor, e-GP Trainer, and an enlisted trainer of the Ministry of Public Administration of the Bangladesh Government. 

Rasel works as Procurement Officer at Bangladesh Resident Mission of Asian Development Bank (ADB). He has more than 14 years of experience including 5 years with the ADB as a National Procurement Specialist. Rasel has been instrumental in processing and implementing several projects across health, education, water and urban sectors. He also served as a Procurement Consultant at World Bank and contributed to implement several projects in transport, education, disaster management, and water development sectors.

In addition to his career with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), Rasel has made significant contribution as a government employee to leading public sector engineering organizations, including the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) and the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB). His professional journey began in 2011 as an academician in the Civil Engineering Department at World University of Bangladesh.

Rasel's extensive experience with MDBs and the government has made him well-versed in policies, procedures, and project administration from inception to completion. He looks forward to leveraging his skills and experience to drive impactful work in the arena of procurement.
