Science Manager - Super Pollutants, Clean Air Fund Profile / Bio Dr. Ram Lal Verma is a Science Manager – Super Pollutants at the Clean Air Fund, leading science-driven initiatives on short-lived climate pollutants, including black carbon. With nearly two decades of experience in air pollution and climate change, he works at the science–policy interface to translate research into actionable policy pathways. Previously, as Head of the Air Pollution Cluster at the Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific, Asian Institute of Technology, he coordinated the Atmospheric Brown Cloud Programme, the Malé Declaration, regional air quality capacity building initiatives, and supported EANET. He currently serves as a member of the IPCC's Task Group on Data Support for Climate Change Assessments and the CCAC's Science Group for the International Clean Air Day for Blue Skies.
