Rabin Raj Niraula holds a PhD in Water Governance and Climate change Vulnerability from Kathmandu University and is an expert in Environment and Climate Change, with wide working experience in Community Development, Disaster, Forest, Land and Water Governance. He has published research on water management, water governance, climatic suitability, vulnerability and adaptation, spatial modeling, forest mapping, land use, and landcover change.

Currently, Rabin Raj Niraula is leading Environment and Climate initiatives in Heifer International Asia prioritizing resilience for Smallholder farmers in the Heifer programs in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India and Nepal.
