Pragya leads Public Policy & Partnerships for OpenAI to shape AI policy and explore partnerships that amplify voices from the Global South. Before OpenAI, Pragya spearheaded Public Affairs at Truecaller, the leading caller identification app, where she cultivated key relationships across government, media, partners, civil society, and investors to advance Truecaller's mission of safer communication. Pragya joined Truecaller from WhatsApp, where she was one of their first hires in India, managing Communications and driving reputation and advocacy efforts.
She has spoken at various public events like the Harvard India Conference, NUS ISAS Conference in Singapore and continues to advocate for a safer internet along with the immense potential of AI to reduce inequities and democratize access to information.
