Philline is co-Founder of Greenergy Solar PH, the first commercial brand for solar rooftop installations in Mindanao, Philippines. Previously, she managed the Low-Carbon Development project in the country under the Global Climate and Energy Initiative of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). She later worked in Climate Finance as the Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist for the ADB-administered Climate Investment Funds (CIF).
She holds a Social Science Master’s degree in Tri-Sector Collaboration from the Singapore Management University. She is an alumnus of the UN System Staff College (UNSSC) in Bonn, Germany on Localizing the Sustainable Development Agenda. She has training on Collaborative Governance from The Brookings Institution in Washington DC and on the Circular Economy from the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands.
She is Special Adviser to Landmark Public Affairs based in Singapore, and the FIPRA Global Network of Belgium, and has completed projects on a consultancy basis for UNHCR on climate displacement and the ADB-WWF Partnership. She is an active volunteer for organizations like 350.org and the Climate Reality Project.
