Peter Leary

Chief Scientist
, Geoflow Imaging
Profile / Bio:

Peter Leary's interests include the physics of rock-fluid interaction in the brittle-fracture crust. This interest began with earthquakes in California (while at Princeton and the University of Southern California), progressed with more accessible rock-fluid interaction data from the North Sea oil/gas province (University of Edinburgh), sharpened considerably working on geothermal flow processes (University of Auckland), and now finds practical application in pursuit of seismic images of flow structures for accurate geothermal production well siting ( He has authored about 60 journal articles and conference proceedings and holds a Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees in Physics from the University of Chicago.
