Paul Teng

Prof. Teng has held positions at the NIE, Singapore as Principal Officer, Dean for Graduate Studies and Professional Learning, and Head of Natural Sciences and Science Education Academic Group. He is a scientist and science educator who leads NIE’s education consulting and outreach activities in many ADB developing member countries. He has been active in teacher professional development research in Singapore and, in an advisory capacity, on science education to Singapore’s Ministry of Education and private groups. He is concurrently Adjunct Professor at Murdoch University, Australia, and Senior Fellow at Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture, Philippines. He has won numerous awards including an Honorary Doctor of Science (from Murdoch University, Australia) and is a Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS).
