Omer Bin Zia

Omer Bin Zia works with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Pakistan Resident Mission (PRM)  as a Senior Project Officer (Social Sectors). He manages ADB’s social sector portfolio and pipeline in social protection, health, and education sectors in Pakistan. Most recently he has co-led the processing and implementation of the $500 million project under the Asia Pacific Vaccine Access Facility (APVAX), the $100 million results-based loan (RBL) for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Systems Strengthening, and the $603 million RBL for the Integrated Social Protection Development Program as co team lead. Previously, he has also worked with the government of Pakistan in different positions. He has a master’s degree in law from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom and another master’s in applied psychology from the Punjab University, Lahore.
