Oliver Diehl

Deputy Head of Division, Vocational Education and Training at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research

Oliver Diehl is Deputy Head of Division for Vocational Education and Training at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), where he also serves as Deputy Head of the Section on Further Learning and the European Education Area. He plays a key role in shaping policies and initiatives related to technical and vocational education and training (TVET), lifelong learning, and European education cooperation.

With 20 years of experience in ministerial service, Dr. Diehl has been working on TVET issues since 2013, contributing to policy development and international collaboration in skills and workforce development. He holds a PhD in Psychology from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, and has an academic background in psychology and political science.
