Senior Climate Change Specialist, Resilience & Social Development Global Practice, Islamic Development Bank Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Olatunji is a Senior Climate Change Specialist within the Global Practices Directorate of the Islamic Development Bank. He is responsible for mainstreaming climate change in the Bank’s funded operations and portfolio and helping member countries attain low carbon and climate resilient development pathways as well as transition to the green economy. In his development practice, he has contributed and co-led the preparation, design, and implementation of over 15 development projects and programs across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America in agriculture, energy, urban development, water and sanitation sectors. Previously, he served as a project performance evaluator for development interventions, programs and country strategies financed and implemented by the Bank. He was formerly an advisor with KPMG Advisory Services. He holds degrees from the Environmental Change Institute at Oxford University, United Kingdom and the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
