Commissioner of Education, Ministry of Education, Sports and Training, Republic of Marshall Islands Profile / Bio Dr. Natalie Nimmer has served as Commissioner of Education for the Republic of the Marshall Islands since 2024, leading efforts to improve school quality, expand preschool and secondary access, and strengthen services for neurodiverse learners. A former teacher, administrator, and college instructor in the RMI, she holds an EdD from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where she documented a Marshallese Indigenous Learning Framework.
