Profile / Bio

H.E. Naranbayar Purevsuren serves as the Minister of Education and Member of Parliament of Mongolia. Appointed in July 2024, he leads major national reforms to improve education quality and equity, strengthen teacher development, advance competency-based curriculum reform, and accelerate digital transformation. He holds a Ph.D. in International Studies from the National University of Mongolia and Masters of Arts in Law from Kyoto University of Japan. Prior to his appointment as the Minister, he held key leadership roles in public service and local governance. From 2020 to 2024, he served as a Representative of Ulaanbaatar City Council and Board Member of HUN Party.
