Profile / Bio:
Dr. Najibullah Habib is a Senior Health Specialist (MD, DrPH) with over 20 years’ experience working in major multilateral donor agencies and international health institutions. His expertise is in health policy development, communicable disease control, and health workforce capacity development. He currently works in the Urban and Social Sectors Division, in the East Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank, working on health projects in Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China and focusing on improving access to health services to disadvantaged groups, elderly care, and regional health security. He has interests in multisectoral approaches to development issues in urban development, environment, and health.
