Nadine Poupart is Social Protection Coordinator and Project Manager in the Health and Social Protection Division at Agence française de développement (AFD), an organization that she joined in 2015. Prior to this position, she spent over twenty years at the World Bank where her last assignment was Human Development Coordinator and Senior Economist at the Morocco Country Office. During her career, Nadine Poupart has conducted high-level policy dialogue and managed projects, technical assistance programs and analytical work in different fields of the human development sector (social protection, health, poverty, labor, community-driven development, and education). She has worked on a variety of social protection topics in low and middle-income countries: social protection and climate change, universal health coverage, age care, cash transfer programs, energy and food subsidies, labor-intensive public works, etc. She holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Economics of Development from the Paris 2 University, France.
