A N M Obaidullah

Mr. A N M Obaidullah has joined as Member, Company Affairs, BPDB on 20th February, 2025. In the year 1994, he Joined Karnaphuli Hydro Power Plant, BPDB as Assistant Engineer.

In his long carrier, Mr. Obaidullah worked both at home and abroad in different capacities. He has long experience in working at different areas of power sector including Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Planning.

Mr. Obaidullah worked as a Research Fellow, Energy Trade in SAARC Energy Centre from 2008 to 2011.

He is the author of more than 25 numbers of publications published in national and international journals and presented papers in different workshops/seminars at home and abroad.

As a Research Fellow, Energy Trade at SAARC Energy Centre, four research books were published –

• Integrated Energy Potential of South Asia: Vision 2020;
• Trends of Smart Grid: Approach for South Asia;
• Regional Hydropower Plants: Opportunities in Bhutan and Nepal, and
• Regional Electricity Trade: Legal Frameworks of South Asia.
