Muniyat Fabbiha

Muniyat Fabbiha is an energy finance professional with experience in development finance, climate resilience, and sustainable infrastructure. She is currently serving as Associate Project Officer (Energy) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), supporting the management and implementation of Bangladesh’s $2.15 billion power and energy sector portfolio across generation, transmission, and distribution. Her work focuses on clean energy integration, energy transition, smart grid modernization, digital energy solutions, and strategic engagement with government, development partners, and the private sector.

Prior to joining ADB, Muniyat worked with the Secretariat of the Vulnerable Group of Twenty (V20) Ministers of Finance, contributing to Bangladesh’s Climate Prosperity Plan and the G7-V20 Global Shield against Climate Risks. She also worked on market systems development and private sector engagement with Swisscontact and in Bangladesh’s technology startup ecosystem.

Muniyat holds a Master of Development Management from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from North South University.
