Mulugeta Dinka

Mulugeta Dinka is a Senior Procurement Specialist in World Bank, currently based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mulugeta is an Ethiopian national and joined the World Bank in Ethiopia Country Office as a Procurement Consultant in February 2012 and moved to Rwanda in April 2014, and as of 1st January 2024 to Bangladesh. Before joining the Bank, he held various positions, including as the Manager for Regional Rural Roads Authority, Housing Development Project Office and Manager for Construction Project Office in Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, the highest building in Ethiopia and second highest in Africa. He was also a lecturer at the Ethiopia Civil Service University where he taught undergraduate courses in Project Management, Contract Administration, Contract Law and Construction Equipment.

Mulugeta holds a B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering from Addis Ababa University and MSC degree in Urban Survey and Human Settlement Analysis from ITC, the Netherlands. He has over 27 years of experience in procurement and project & contract management.
