Mriganka is the Founding Partner of Habitat Tectonics Architecture & Urbanism and an urban strategist and policy writer. With 20 years experience in UK and India, she has worked extensively with both public and private sectors on design-led policy and tools for effective delivery in the areas of Sustainable Management of Natural Water Resources, Sustainable Growth, Transit Oriented Development, and Mobility.

As Senior Consultant with the Delhi Jal Board, she led an ambitious project of restoring existing waterbodies and drains in Delhi for the Delhi Govt. She authored the paper ‘Governing Water – Appropriate Governance structures for effective Management of Water Resources in India’, as Research Fellow at the Yamuna River Project, University of Virginia.

She is currently leading the preparation of an Enabling Statutory and Administrative Framework for the implementation of Integrated Urban Water Management across Indian towns and cities. She received a BArch degree from TVB School of Habitat Studies in New Delhi and an MSc in City Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics. Mriganka is also a TEDx speaker on Enabling Urban Transformations through an Urban systems approach, specifically looking at water.
