General Manager, Bulk and Break Bulk Terminal, Johor Port Berhad Profile / Bio Mohd Rafizal bin Esmail has over 20 years of experience in conventional terminal operations and currently serves as the General Manager of the Bulk & Break Bulk Terminal at Johor Port Berhad. He oversees the planning and execution of cargo handling operations for liquid bulk, dry bulk and break bulk cargoes. With dry bulk cargo being a major contributor to Johor Port’s throughput, he has been actively involved in strengthening operational controls and SOPs to ensure cargo is handled efficiently while minimising environmental impact such as dust emissions, cargo spillage and operational pollution risks. His experience is particularly relevant in managing terminals that handle both edible and non-edible cargoes, where sustainability and operational discipline are equally critical.
