Profile / Bio

Mr. Sayeed possesses 20 years of versatile experience in the civil engineering field, focusing on transport, urban, rural, and water resources development sectors in Bangladesh. He worked inthe  Design Section in a renowned consulting firm in Bangladesh, then in the United Nations in Afghanistan as a Civil Engineer (Design) in the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA). Lastly, he joined the Asian Development Bank, Bangladesh Resident Mission in July, 2015. He has experience in design and analysis of road and urban structures, roadway design, traffic surveys and analysis, design of Pre-stressed and conventional Bridges with seismic resistance, both in Bangladesh and Afghanistan. In ADB, he experienced various stages of the project cycle, such as Project Design and Processing, Project Implementation, and Project closing followed by project completion reports.

Mr. Sayeed is a graduate of Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering Technology (KUET) and has a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also a PASS-accredited staff member in Procurement in ADB.
