Regional Cooperation Specialist, ADB Profile / Bio Minkyu Kim earned a master’s degree in international development policy from Duke University in North Carolina, United States, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and applied statistics from Yonsei University in the Republic of Korea. He is a Regional Cooperation Specialist (Financial Sector) in the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Before joining ADB, he served as Assistant Secretary to the President for Economic and Financial Affairs in the Office of the President of the Republic of Korea. He also held the position of Policy Advisor in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF). Earlier in his career, he was Senior Deputy Director in the Public Institutions Policy Bureau and Deputy Director in both the International Finance Bureau and the Policy Coordination Bureau of MOEF, where he served from 2008 onward.
