Mr. White is a civil/environmental engineer with 37 years of professional experience in the water and urban development sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Master’s degree in water and waste engineering. He has been based in Southeast Asia for 29 years and has worked full-time in the development sector since 1997. Before joining the Asian Development Bank in 2009, Mr. White was staff with a number of large international consulting firms, specializing in water supply, sanitation, and urban development projects; involved at all project stages, from planning and concept through to implementation and beyond. Mr. White currently heads the project administration and technical teams for implementation of water and urban development projects across Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
