Mr. Fukuhara is the CEO and Founder of Institution for a Global Society. Before IGS, Fukuhara was with MUFG and then with Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock), where he became the youngest managing director. He is also Adjunct Professor at Hitotsubashi University and Project Professor at Keio University in Japan. After establishing the IGS in 2010, he has developed a range of HR-Tech and Ed-Tech solutions, GROW, making use of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Bias-free technology to systematically assess personality traits and competencies (soft-skills) of students and professionals. Today, GROW applications ranges from predictive recruitment to growth monitoring, on various scales, from individual to organization-wide or industry-wide analysis projects. Mr. Fukuhara majored in statistics and econometrics at Keio University. He obtained his MBA from INSEAD, a Master’s degree in International Finance from HEC, and Ph.D. from Tsukuba University.
