Mary Jane Dela Rosa is a Supervising Economic Development Specialist at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) - the Philippines’ premier socioeconomic planning body. She holds a Master's Degree in Development Management at the University of the Philippines Los Baños in 2010 and a Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness Management in the same university in 2000. She is specifically assigned in the Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Environment Staff of NEDA where she provides technical and coordination support in the formulation of national plans, policies, and programs related to the environment and natural resources sector. As the agency’s focal person for biodiversity, she leads in the review of proposed programs including legislations related to the sector. She also serves as focal on environment-related SDGs and represents NEDA in various inter-agency and Project Boards that oversee the implementation of environment-related programs/projects. She also represents the country in various international fora related to sustainable development, green growth, and biodiversity, among others.
