Marlene Hsu is a Water Research Australia (WaterRA) Research Manager and has over 15 years of experience working in the water sector both in Australia and in the UK. Currently she is playing the Project Director role for the Collaboration on Sewage Surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 (ColoSSoS) project covering Australia and New Zealand. With her experience as a lead design engineer at Thames Water and design project manager for numerous leading consultancies, she brings her enthusiasm for engaging WaterRA’s research partners and stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful research. She understands both the technical requirements of water and wastewater treatment, as well as the importance of working collaboratively with other sectors of our economy to design resilient cities of the future.
