Mark Mills is a Principal Legal Adviser and Solicitor with Ofgem, the regulator for the gas and electricity markets in Great Britain. He has a diverse practice and advises across a broad range of Ofgem’s work in relation to the retail and wholesale markets. This includes competition law, in relation to which he was seconded to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, and other enforcement matters, as well as general public law and commercial judicial review. Mark trained at an international law firm, spending time in London and Brussels. Mark is a graduate of the University of Essex (LL.B Law) and Cambridge University (LL.M Commercial Law). Mark contributed to a recent publication, The Guide to Energy Market Manipulation, as the author of the chapter on enforcement activities in the European Union.
