Marissa Francisco Munar is a Researcher at the University of the Philippines Diliman and the Grand Winner of Clean Air Asia’s E-mobility Idea Competition.

Marissa Munar earned her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2024. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Energy Engineering at the National Graduate School of Engineering, also in the University of the Philippines Diliman. Alongside her graduate studies, she is an affiliate of the Electric Mobility Research and Development Group. Her published research focuses on marine electrification, advocating for the inclusion of small scale coastal boats in electric mobility initiatives. Her interests include power electronics, renewable energy, and marine electric mobility. Hence, driving the development of the BANGKA project.
