Faculty Member and Scientist, Wildlife Institute of India Profile / Bio Profile / Bio Dr. Malvika Onial holds a Doctorate degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Cambridge and MSc degrees in Environmental Biology from the University of Delhi and in Environmental Assessment and Evaluation from the London School of Economics. She has nearly two decades of experience in research and professional work concerning biodiversity conservation with a focus on natural heritage conservation, bird ecology and assessment of impacts of human activities on biodiversity. She has been involved in India's national reporting to the Convention on Biological Diversity, updating of the National Biodiversity Action Plan, and in reporting and monitoring of world heritage sites under the UNESCO World Heritage Convention.
