Madiha Riaz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. She earned her PhD in Economics from Universiti Sains Malaysia, specializing in the Efficiency of Social Performance Management in Microfinance Institutions, and holds a Master’s in Applied Econometrics from Monash University, Australia. Her research interests center on Trade,  poverty, financial inclusion, Islamic finance, and sustainable development, with over 65 publications in nationally and internationally recognized journals.She has contributed extensively to academia through teaching, supervision, and active participation in international conferences, where she has served as a presenter, session chair, and organizer. She is also engaged in editorial and peer-review roles for several academic journals and is a Senior Research Fellow at Ethicss, Uk. Alongside her academic work, she has organized and delivered training workshops on econometric methods, data analytics, and research methodologies. Her professional affiliations include memberships in leading international research networks.
